Savory Snacks for When You're On the Go
Are you all too familiar with the mid afternoon slump? When your energy starts to drain, what do you turn to? Hopefully not junk food! While sugary snacks may make us feel energetic for a while, they often lead us into a trap- a crash! However, we’ve compiled a list of snacks that are healthy, nutritious, and will give you that extra pep in your step when you’re feeling tired at work. Peanut Butter and Celery Sticks
Peanut butter goes great with almost anything, especially celery! With this snack, you’ll get some veggies in your system, too.
Bananas
Bananas make the perfect breakfast for when you’re running behind, or simply short on time. Just bring along something else that contains protein, like almonds, trail mix, or another snack listed here.
Beef Jerky and/or Cheese
Have you ever tried the beef jerky-cheese combination? It’s perfect, and packed with protein, too! You can find this snack packaged together at your local grocery or convenience store.
Peanut Butter and Pretzels
We know, again with the peanut butter… but it makes the perfect, energizing snack! Pack these snacks separately, or cover the pretzels in peanut butter- however you like it best!
Granola Bars
You can find a wide variety of healthy granola bars at the grocery store (and we’re not talking about the ones that are packed with sugar).
