Working in the medical industry can be very demanding and very hectic, and you may not always be able to prevent accidents from happening. Hydrogen Peroxide

Believe it or not, the quickest and easiest way of dealing with those pesky stains on your scrubs is hydrogen peroxide. Usually accessible in a medical environment, hydrogen peroxide is very effective at dealing with a mess on your scrub before it sets in and becomes a more permanent stain, especially if its blood. Just poor the peroxide on the stain, let it sit for a while, and then rinse it off with some water. It works best if you use cool water. Once you do that, the stain should come right out!

Stain Stick

Our next tip is keeping a stain stick somewhere nearby when you go to work. They should even be small enough so that you can fit one inside your pocket in case of a spill. That’s especially a good idea if you know you’re a little clumsy and you’re likely to get something spilled on your scrubs.

Back-up Scrubs

The last bit of advice is particularly useful if you’re dealing with a big mess; bring a pair of back-up scrubs to work! With backup scrubs on hand, you can immediately change your scrubs in the aftermath of a mess, and you can deal with cleaning your stained scrubs with a full wash when you get home.
