Best Care Tips For Blue Sky Scrubwear And Accessories
If you own Blue Sky products, whether it's one of our scrub outfits made from our famous Medleisure wear fabrics, a professional and stylish lab coat, a surgical scrubs cap or anything else, you probably want to keep your Blue Sky products in great condition. We design all of these items with durability in mind, so they’ll last much longer than the competition. But even still, it's important to know how to properly care for these items so you can wear them time and time again! Here’s our tips for taking great care of your Blue Sky scrubs and accessories.
Scrubs
Our scrubs come in two main varieties; the poly/cotton blend and the poly/spandex blend, but the care process is the same for both. We recommend washing them, washing them in a cold setting and tumble drying them with low heat. However, for an even better outcome for your custom scrubs, we recommend line drying them. You can find the benefits of line drying your scrubs here.
Scrub Caps
Our lovely scrub caps are made with 100% cotton, which means it's best to wash them on a cold setting and tumble dry with low heat. But to help them last even longer, we recommend hand washing your scrub caps and allowing them to air dry.
Outerwear
This includes all of our lab coats, jackets, vests and hoodies. We recommend machine washing with cold water on a gentle cycle for the best outcome. Line or tumble dry on low heat. Be sure not to bleach, iron or dry clean.
Baselayers
For our various undershirts and baselayers, we recommend the same care as our outerwear. Cold water, gentle cycle, line or tumble dry on low heat. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean.
Compression Socks
Machine or hand wash cold, do not dry as the elasticity of the compression socks will be compromised, hang or lay flat to dry.
Trucker Hats
Spot clean with mild, dye-free soap and a white rag or wash in a baseball hat cage in the dishwasher with mild detergent.
Scarves
Machine was cold, gentle cycle or hand wash with cold water and mild soap. Tumble dry low.
